Recap
Dallas bounced back in a big way in Week 2, dominating Detroit on both sides of the ball in a 41–7 victory. The Cowboys piled up 386 yards of offense behind a huge game from Javonte Williams. Williams ran for **165 yards and a touchdown** while adding another 60 yards receiving, giving him 225 yards from scrimmage. Dak Prescott took care of the rest, throwing for 220 yards and four touchdowns. Detroit struggled to get much going against the Dallas defense. Jared Goff was held to 139 passing yards and threw three interceptions, while Jahmyr Gibbs managed 68 yards on the ground. Amon-Ra St. Brown provided the Lions' lone score, finishing with 59 receiving yards and a touchdown. The Cowboys' defense made sure there was never much chance for Detroit to get back into it. Dallas forced **three turnovers and recorded three sacks**, with Dee Winters picking off Goff twice while also leading the Cowboys with seven tackles. After a tough four-point loss to Atlanta in Week 1, Dallas responded about as emphatically as possible — 386 yards of offense, 41 points and a defense that kept Detroit off the scoreboard outside of a single touchdown. **Player of the Game:** Javonte Williams — 165 rushing yards, 60 receiving yards, 1 TD.
